The Revolution of Change: State of The Art Materials for Outstanding Patient Outcomes
Presenter: Dr. Ron Kaminer
The stress of day to day practice does not always allow us to introduce new materials into to our daily routines. Fear of failure and extensive learning curves often leave dentists stuck with materials that are not current and/or materials that may not work as well as a modern advancement. In this CE webinar, join us as we explore a new/updated restorative material and how it not only can change the way we practice but also how it benefits our patients.

Chairside Challenges, Lifelong Smiles: Dental Care for the Aging Adult
Presenter: Sonya Dunbar, RDH
Oral health for older adults is an increasingly significant challenge in dentistry today. As people age, their risk of developing caries, periodontal disease, and other oral health complications rises. This heightened risk is often exacerbated by systemic health conditions, polypharmacy, and decreased dexterity, which can impact daily hygiene practices. Unlike younger populations, older adults face unique barriers, including complex medical histories, cognitive decline, and notable changes in insurance coverage after retirement. These factors not only affect their access to dental care but also influence how treatments must be planned and delivered. This evidence-based CE webinar equips dental professionals with practical strategies to enhance the quality of care for older adults in dental office settings. Participants will learn to identify the specific caries risk factors associated with aging patients, apply preventive and minimally invasive management strategies, and adjust treatment protocols for medically fragile individuals. The webinar will also address the impact of changing insurance structures after retirement on access to care, as well as how dental teams can navigate these challenges to provide effective and patient-centered outcomes.

Caries and Hypersensitivity Solutions: Navigating CDT Codes with Confidence
Presenter: Kathy S. Forbes, RDH, BS
Dental hygienists play a vital role in delivering preventive oral health care. In recent years, the number of CDT procedure codes related to preventive procedures and products has expanded significantly. Many hygienists may not be fully aware of ADA’s Current Dental Terminology (CDT) descriptors, which outline the rationale and mechanisms of action for these products. As more patients express concerns about fluoride use in caries management, they are turning to hygienists for alternative recommendations to protect against decay. Which products should you choose, and which CDT procedure codes apply? Similarly, hypersensitivity complaints are on the rise. Patients often report, “My teeth are sensitive when you touch them.” What products can you recommend chairside? Which can be sent home? And how do you document the appropriate CDT procedure code? This CE webinar also introduces ICD-10-CM diagnostic codes that will support the medical necessity of preventive and therapeutic procedures. With insurance carriers starting to require these diagnostic codes on the updated 2024 Dental Claim form (Box 34a), understanding how to integrate them into documentation is essential for accurate claim submission and compliance.

Hidden Diseases Associated with Sickle Cell Disease and the Sickle Cell Trait: Impacts on Oral Health
Presenter: Linda Chandler-Jacobs, BS, RDH
Sickle Cell Disease (SCD) and the Sickle Cell Trait (SCT) extend beyond hematologic impact. This disease is responsible for a lot of hidden systemic conditions that influence oral tissue, dental development, and secondary infections that could result in a vaso-occlusive crises. This CE webinar will explore the connections between SCD/SCT and dental pathology. We will also cover chronic hypoxia, inflammation, vascular compromise, and their effects on the dentition. Participates will learn oral indicators of systemic disease, dental management strategies, and evidence based approaches using VOCO dental products.

From Chaos to Clusters: 50 Shades of Grey May Be Okay, but 50 Shades of Composite, Really?
Presenter: Dr. Foroud Hakim
In an era where every manufacturer is throwing their hat into the shade simplification ring, how can the pragmatic doctor navigate the waters? From the promise of single shade, omnichromatic entries, to shade reduced options, and perhaps even well designed clustered shade pallets, this webinar is designed to debunk the myths and give attendees the tools to make educated material selection decisions. These decisions can lead to better inventory economics, while simultaneously improving the predictability of esthetic outcomes for patients. In this dynamic CE webinar, Dr. Hakim will share the latest innovations in the category, while also reviewing the basics of adhesive composite delivery to reinforce successful and lasting restorations.

Beyond the Gums: Airway, Inflammation, and Periodontal Disease – Part 1
Presenter: LD Coaching
Periodontal disease is no longer understood as a condition driven by biofilm alone. Emerging evidence continues to highlight the role of airway dysfunction, altered breathing patterns, and chronic inflammation as contributing risk factors to periodontal breakdown. This two-part CE webinar series explores the airway–inflammation–periodontal connection through a prevention-focused, hygiene-centered lens. Participants will learn how mouth breathing and sleep-disordered breathing influence the oral microbiome, salivary function, and inflammatory burden, and how these changes present clinically during routine hygiene visits. Dental hygienists will gain practical tools for recognizing airway-related red flags, implementing simple screening strategies within their scope, communicating findings confidently with patients, and integrating prevention-based periodontal care models that support long-term stability.
