The cornerstone for dental treatment is to prevent or control infection leading to dental disease. According to the World Health Organization most oral health conditions are largely preventable and can be treated in their early stages. For patients to achieve successful long-term results, it is imperative they receive a customized home care plan that focuses on continued biofilm removal for reduction of inflammation and staving off disease initiation and progression. This CE webinar will address current approaches for prevention that extend beyond the operatory. Dental professionals will walk away with a renewed confidence in their oral health care education sessions and product recommendations.

During this CE webinar, we will
• Examine the connection between oral health, general health and health-related quality of life
• Explain how to incorporate the P4 model in dentistry to help accurate predict and prevent dental disease
• Describe emerging trends in products and armamentarium used for oral homecare that focus on biofilm control and support improved oral health
• Develop evidence-based, personalized oral home care instructions for patients that promote oral and systemic health   ( disclaimer , AGD PACE Statement )
