Flowable composite resins have long since been used effectively in preventative and restorative pediatric dentistry. But until now their use has been generally limited to sealants and liners. Recent improvements in mechanical properties and availability of different viscosities have changed how we view and use flowable resins. We now have many different flowables with different properties to choose from. Specifically, variations in viscosity lead to different clinical indications. We can now match appropriate viscosity and delivery to appropriate clinical scenario. As a result, flowable resins have a newly increased versatility and usefulness for different restorative situations. This CE webinar will walk through the advantages of different viscosity flowable resins and their indications for use with your pediatric patients. We will study several different clinical cases and choices of material for most effective and efficient use of our materials to best serve our patients.
During this CE webinar, the participant will • Understand mechanical properties and delivery of flowable resins in pediatric preventative and restorative dentistry • Learn different clinical applications of flowable resins • Effectively and efficiently use flowable resins in pediatric dentistry
